Top 5 NFL Rookies to Watch in 2025

1. Travis Hunter
Hunter can play almost any position on the field better than anyone. With excellent ball skills, elite speed, and quickness, he’s primed for a massive season. While it’s debatable whether he’ll play more at WR or DB, he’ll put up numbers regardless.

2. Abdul Carter
Carter is in line for the most productive rookie season in 2025. Naturally gifted and already part of a ferocious defensive front with Dexter Lawrence and Brian Burns, Carter will benefit from less attention his way. He’s in line for 12+ sacks.

3. Ashton Jeanty
An old-school running back who loves contact. After narrowly missing the SEC rushing record in college, Jeanty is set to become a top-tier back by the end of the 2025 season. With surprising quickness for his 240-pound frame, and a sneaky-good Raiders O-line, 1,200+ yards isn’t out of the question.

4. Cam Ward
Ward declared he’s going to “let it rip,” and the Titans seem ready to let him. On a team with low expectations, they’ll put the ball in their #1 overall pick’s hands and let him sling it. Expect big numbers from Ward in Year 1.

5. Mason Graham
Big. Beefy. Dominant in the middle. Graham has all the tools to become a Top 5 defensive tackle in the NFL. With Myles Garrett lining up next to him, Graham is going to get favorable matchups and plenty of opportunity to shine. The rest of the Browns' defensive line may be questionable, but Graham is the real deal.
